Become part of the alternative public transport system

Mobile Albania grows a new network of connections across the commuter capital Frankfurt and its surrounding area. Beyond the powerful hubs and established locations, new stops are continuously being created as passersby and visitors add stops to the growing map and suggest connections.

Mobile Albania‘s “omnibus“ travels the alternative network between seemingly inconspicuous street corners, backyards, personally relevant, secret or forgotten places and creates new lines in the collective movement. Out of the juxtaposition in traffic emerges a moving interrogation of what constitutes connection and interconnectedness in a hypermobile society – a new practice of commuting between daily grind and alchemy.
