The Melancholy of Marissa Cooper is a collective DJ-dance body that is sym-poetically desperately teenage, crying, laughing and screaming out loud. Marissa lets you fall into her, she is never enough. Her skin is a fiction. Taking club culture as a parallel universe with its own rules, Marissa uses her melancholy to open herself to death through a collective ecstatic experience. In this co-immunity, we look back at notions of inseparability, intensity, darkness, and divinity. LATHE:
LATHE is the DJ alias of Juliet Carpenter, an artist from New Zealand currently based in Frankfurt, Germany. Her style is high energy, experimental and genre-fluid. Her sets consist of a decade-long selection of songs, interspersed with chatty and acid basslines. She mainly plays industrial techno, house music, indie rock and fluid styles.
